We've worked hard behind the scenes to make it even easier for you. From now on, our membership administration is fully automated.

That also means that paying your membership fee for the following year is only possible via our website, with Bancontact/Payconiq, Mastercard, Visa, etc.

What has changed?

The automation of our membership administration has now been completed. At the beginning of 2022, we switched from a paper registration form to digital registration for new members on the website. Less work for our activity coordinators and treasurers, who no longer have to file, scan or photograph registration forms and email them to the membership administration. Also, no more laborious deciphering of your unique handwriting by our membership administration and then manually entering your data into our membership register.

Each existing member already had their own member profile, with a login ID (= the email address you used to register as a member) and a password.

Over the course of 2023, we have asked you to use your login ID and password to log in to our website and to update your registration details. This is important for the insurance, and from now on, also for the payment of membership fees.

Since October 2023, new members pay their first membership fee online together with their registration as a new member.

From November 1, 2023, this also applies to existing members: from now on, membership fees can only be renewed online via the website. Payment by bank transfer, via the QR code for membership fees with Payconiq, in cash, etc. is no longer possible.

How do you renew your membership from now on?

Log in with your existing profile and go to 'My membership fee'. From now on, you can easily pay your membership fee for 2024 online here.

In detail:

At the top of the website, you will find a topic 'Members' in the menu. If you expand it, you will see the 'Login' option. On your smartphone, click the 3-line icon at the top left to expand the menu.

Click 'Login': you will see the login page where you enter your login ID (the email address which you are registered with) and your password.

To pay your membership fee, you of course select 'My Membership'.

As an active member, you will see your active membership under 'My Membership', which is valid from January 1 to December 31. From now on, you can renew this by clicking the blue button at the bottom with the text 'Renew Now'.


Payment step by step

With every order, you will first see a confirmation screen. Here, you will get a detailed overview of your choices. You can still cancel the payment and return to start over again.

From now on, every time you renew your membership, you will also have to reconfirm that you agree with our internal regulations. Maybe you should read them? They were also thoroughly modernised in 2023.

Afterwards, you can click 'Stripe Pay Now' to proceed to the actual payment.

You can choose between Bancontact/Payconiq (preferably, it costs us the least), Mastercard, Visa, Apple Pay, Google Pay, IDEAL, etc.

Waterpolo Fee, Swimming Licence

You guessed it: from now on, you will not only pay for your annual membership online, but also for the Waterpolo Fee or the Swimming Licence. These expire on December 31 as well and can be renewed via 'My Membership'. Your membership fee for next year will be one payment; the additional options can be settled with a second payment. Any swimmer or waterpolo player with a current membership can also pay these options at any time later that year.**

Supporting Membership

Would you like to support us through a Supporting Membership ("van harte-lidmaatschap")? That is still very welcome. From now on, you do this online as well by choosing the 'Upgrade to Supporting Membership' option after paying for the basic membership, by renewing your current 'Supporting Membership', or by replacing your expired standard membership with a new 'Supporting Membership' (or vice versa is also possible). So, you can make this choice again every year.

When do you have to renew your membership?

Nothing really changed here. Membership fees for next year can be paid from November 1 of the current year.

Just like before, after your membership expires on December 31, you have 1 month left to renew your membership AND thus your insurance without interruption. After January 31, we will transmit all paying members to the insurance, which from now on is also valid from January 1 to December 31.

From February 1, you are no longer a member and no longer insured. If you want to rejoin us again later in the year, you can still do so with your existing profile. Simply log in: you will no longer have access to your history and you will only be abel to choose and pay your membership option(s). Once you have paid, you will regain access to your profile and payment history. Anyone who has not paid a membership fee for more than 3 years will be removed from our membership register and must register again, just like a new member. Because of the GDPR, you know...

Consult your Bills and Payments

With the same menu option 'Members' => 'My Membership', at the bottom of that page, you will be able to consult, download, print, etc. your bills and payments in the future. This way, you will be able see what exactly you paid and when at any time. Of course, you won't find payments from before the introduction of this system here.


You forgot your password? You can request a new password on the login page. After a few minutes, you will receive an email with your new password and you can log in.

*Attention! New members who joined ACA at a reduced rate after July 1, 2023, can only switch to the standard membership 2024 from January 1, 2024.
