ACA Water Polo was founded in 2012 and has grown into an inclusive fun group of friends with room for all; thick/thin, young/old and from X to Y and all that’s in-between or out of those boxes.
CORE VALUES ACA WATERPOLO
Most importantly we all participate because we are eager to practice water polo and to have fun. There is room for all levels, backgrounds and colors. That diversity and accessibility is what makes the ACA Water Polo team! Fanatic, but always positive and fun!
To make this more concrete, a charter has been drawn up that you can find here in dutch. This is based on the motto: good agreements, make good friends!

A training consists of warming up, technique and a match.

Do you want to give it a shot? You are very welcome to join and the first time is for free! We do though encourage you to start in September, January or June. This way you can be sure that we can pay enough attention to teach you the basics of Water Polo. Send an email to the waterpolo coordinator. to schedule your first training.
Don't worry too much about waterpolo supposingly being a heavy sport. You'll see it is not that bad. There is room for everyone, from beginner to competition. Nevertheless, basics of swimming are important, as well as physical fitness.
REQUIREMENTS
We provide the most in terms of equipment. Bring your own (speedolike) swimming trunks, goggles and towel (and perhaps a swimmingcap and water bottle) and you are ready to go.
RECREATIONAL COMPETITION and TOURNAMENTS
Optional but highly recommended: we participate in the regular recreational tournament and at least one international tournament (champagne water polo league) every year, so if your ambition lies in that area ... let us know!
RULES
Golden rule: CUT YOUR NAILS and DO NOT WEAR JEWELERY, watches or other devices in the pool. This way you keep it fun for your teammates and/or opponents.

PRICES
You can find the regular rates of ACA at our prices page.
At ACA Waterpolo, there is the possibility to register for a Teamplayer Fare: an annual fixed price with which you have unlimited access to the training sessions for a whole calendar year. For details, it is best to ask the waterpolo coordinator.
